Senior Project Manager Electrical Engineering (all genders)

Your responsibilities

The role involves the planning and construction of electrical infrastructure for wind, solar and BESS projects, with a clear focus on grid connection activities in Romania and the neighbouring countries. You will play a key role throughout the entire project lifecycle, working closely with internal teams, grid operators and external partners.

You will be responsible for:

• Implementation of grid connections for our projects, from feasibility studies through planning, tendering, and awarding contracts, to construction management and coordination, up to the commissioning and handover.
• Technical discussions and negotiations with grid operators and certified electrical designers regarding grid connections and ensuring compliance with applicable connection conditions and regulations.
• Point of contact for all questions regarding projects specific electrical infrastructure (substations, cable routes, overhead lines) and grid connections.
• Coordination and collaboration with internal departments and external stakeholders.
• Managing contracts and supervising the work of external contractors and consultants associated to the electrical infrastructure of our projects.

Your profile

• Bachelor’s or master´s degree in electrical engineering (preferable power generation and distribution)
  or a comparable qualification.
• At least five years experience in utility scale wind power project delivery with a focus on grid
  connection.
• Ability to solve complex problems, work in a team and moderate technical discussions.
• Reliable, goal-oriented, and structured work style, as well as a confident demeanor.
• Fluency in Romanian and English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of another language is
  advantageous.
• Driving license category B and willingness to travel for several days at a time.
